I spent my winter nights cozied up on the couch playing video games and also worked on styling my website. I have changed the colours of the site but I’m thinking of swapping them around.

TITLE: Obsession
RATING: 5/5
THOUGHTS: I decided to give Obsession a watch because I heard good things, and I was honestly surprised by how well this story was told. From how I took it, it’s a terrifying look at what it's like being stuck in an abusive relationship. It was so unsettling and stressful to watch because the male character completely strips away her autonomy, destroying her life entirely out of his own selfishness and deep insecurity. It really made me feel bad for her and the actress, Inde Navarrette is why this movie is so good. It’s a genuinely uncomfortable but powerful watch.

Steam summer sale is here but I am still figuring out what I want to get. So far I have added Coral Island, Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio. This is because I want to use the steam deck more and I think these games are perfect for it.

TITLE: Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance
HOURS PLAYED: 60+ hours
STATUS: Ongoing
THOUGHTS: This game is so damn good that I am taking my time grinding and completing as many side quests as I can. I don’t want to beat the game just yet as I want to reach level 99 so I can take on these optional bosses and my gosh they’re difficult.
TITLE: Fire Emblem the Binding Blade
HOURS PLAYED: 4+ hours
STATUS: On hold
THOUGHTS: I barely played many tactical games growing up but this, oh boy, it was difficult. I am playing this with my partner on an emulator and we are playing it in an interesting way where we each manage half of the team. However, three hours in and we soft-locked ourselves. We didn’t buy enough weapons and the classes we had were weak against the boss. This game is unforgiving and I will say don’t get too attached to your troops because as soon as I was given the thief, I got him called (RIP Chad). So we are giving up for now and shall return once we have trained ourselves.
TITLE: Fire Emblem Three Houses
HOURS PLAYED: 4+ hours
STATUS: Ongoing
THOUGHTS: After our failed attempt in Fire Emblem the Binding Blade, we decided to play Three Houses instead to ease ourselves into tactical RPGs. I played this many times but could never beat it, so we are trying again but using the same tactics as we did in The Binding Blade. We picked the Golden Deer house and so far everyone is alive (oh yeah we are playing on classic mode). Hopefully I can beat the game this time.
