It certainly has gotten much colder nowadays and it's been raining a lot too—perfect weather to sip on some tea, wrapped up in a blanket and enjoy a book or a video game.

Reading 📖

I haven't been able to read as many books as I wanted to but at least I am reading a chapter each day. I am currently reading Between Two Fires and my gosh this has been a roller-coaster. It is quite dark and gritty; set in the medieval era where the Black Plague has swept over the lands. For whatever reason it makes me want to play The Witcher and I have never played that before. I know, I should really get onto it especially now that it is getting a DLC.

Playing 🎮

• Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance: I will definitely make a post about this as I have so much to say about it.

• Catto’s Post Office: My gosh this game is so freakin adorable!! It took me 30 minutes to beat and I say it is worth getting it on sale. You play as a cute cat delivering mail.

• Yoshi and the Mysterious Book: I haven't gotten very far but this game brings out my inner child. There is something so addicting about it where it builds curiosity and makes you wonder what else you can discover.

• Lords of the Fallen: I have beaten Lords of the Fallen and I very much enjoyed it. Not as difficult because it was co-op. This game looks absolutely gorgeous with its level design and I really liked the mechanic of using the lantern to enter a different space.

Films Watched 🎞️

This week I pushed myself to watch The Backrooms and it was at the cinema. I don't do horror movies at all but I am proud of myself for giving it a go. It was shot artistically and I was really on the edge of my seat because of how the scenes lingered on for way too long.

TV Shows Watching 📺

The Mighty Nein: This is based on the popular D&D series, Critical Role. Watching this show has got me started on Critical Role even though I know very little on how D&D works. It has really good banter between the characters and the animation is amazing.

Personal Projects and Learning 💻

I am new to using Eleventy so I'm going to keep playing around and see what I can do with this. I am learning how to draw pixel art and the goal for this website is to have a pixel design. The app that I use to draw is Pixquare. I did pay for this but I say it is soo worth it. For now, I’m drawing basic items like food and cubes but eventually I want to be able to draw characters and environments.
